May 2005
Bottom of the list? No, not even in it. Quitting my studies was my last option.
Neither by choice nor by chance, then, was I in Form 6. Great, I thought. Maybe seeing Tennya after school everyday wasn't such a bad thing after all. Maybe I can live with it. Nonetheless, that didn't stop me from checking out other girls who were in Form 6 as well. Much to my disappointment, there wasn't a great deal of variety to look at.
There was a break, a short 9 day break, where I assumed that my relationship with Tennya was growing stronger. How wrong it turned out to be, as the only direction our relationship was heading was down. Thankfully, I thought in my mind, that a new batch of students (girls too) came in after the holidays. One of them was her. She was from Ipoh. She caught my eye and if my hearing didn't fail me, I think I caught her name.
A few days later, another girl came in as well. Not bad looking either. At that point, my relationship with Tennya was at the brink. She was persistent about breaking up and on 15th June 2005, we broke up after 6 months together. Although we weren't really that close, it was a huge blow to me, especially going through form 6 at the same time.
