Chapter 1 - Time to get serious
Early June 2005

I might be perceived as someone who did not take my past relationship seriously. Non-commital when it comes to companionship. I was searching my feelings. Did I really love Tennya? Or was I just upset to lose a companion? I guess, in the long run, the answer was the latter, but I was determined that my next relationship would be one which is serious and full of love and responsibility. No more fooling around. I was looking for a girl who really suits me, and not just attractive physically.

3 days had passed. I was in Biology class. Science Three. It was Friday and I had time to kill. I noticed 2 decent girls in my class (fortunately the decent ones are in my class). I noticed her first. She was slim and simple, but not too simple, big beautiful eyes, which doesn't give her the typical Chinese look, had a very sweet smile, and the loveliest hair I've seen. The slight problem is, she was sitting in a very quiet group of girls. It was hard to approach her. The other girl was slightly shorter, black glasses and was from my tuition centre. She was more talkative, and had a rather attractive look as well.

When school ended, I looked around for her. I saw her walking out with another guy. I was cursing myself. How on earth could she have a boyfriend after just a few days in school? A thought struck me. He might have been her boyfriend before she came to this school! Sigh. I was depressed. But not for long. As I turn my sights to my left, I saw the other girl standing there alone and asked her out. I was surprised it was that easy. We went out for a drink.

A few days after that, I got to know the other girl slightly well, and I realised she didn't have exactly the personality that I wanted. Not that I minded though. A week after that, our class was separated into two. The other girl was in the next class, while she remained in mine. I was happy enough. I sat in front, in the middle column (I always like to sit in front for no particular reason). She sat front row too, but at the right column. Suddenly, as fate would put it, she moved place to sit right behind me. (She tells me now that she actually intended to sit elsewhere actually but had no other choice).
